Originally from Williamsburg, VA, Lucas began his career at the age of 16. In 2011 Lucas moved to Music City and has since then exceeded his small town dreams. While he was the lead guitar player for Stoney Creek recording artist, Frank Ray, Lucas performed on Old Dominionâs No Bad Vibes arena tour throughout the US and Canada.
He has also performed on festival lineups and opened for artists such as Jelly Roll, Bret Michaels, Jon Pardi, Megan Moroney, Brothers Osbourne, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, Sam Hunt, Chris Young, Dylan Scott and many others. Lucas has performed on legendary stages such as The Bluebird Cafe, The Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks Amphitheater and Nissan Stadium. He has written songs with legendary songwriters such as Aaron Barker (George Straitâs âI Can Still Make Cheyenne,â Lonestarâs âWhat About Nowâ), Doug Johnson (Randy Travisâ âThree Wooden Crossesâ), Mark Irwin (Alan Jacksonâs âHere in the Real World,â Tim McGrawâs âHighway Donât Careâ), Danny Wells (George Strait’s “Check Yes or No”) and many others.
