Lydia Simonds is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter hailing from McDonough, Georgia. She draws inspiration from living in today’s Music City and from growing up listening to 90s country music. Her music is a blend of traditional country themes with a modern edge.
In 2020, Lydia auditioned for American Idol Season 18 and impressed the judges with her talent, earning a spot in Hollywood Week. She has performed at iconic venues such as Friends In Low Places in Nashville, Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, and has a residency at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
In Spring of 2024, Lydia quit her coffee shop job in order to pursue music full-time. She will be releasing new music later this year and early 2025.
